Chandigarh, October 27, 2025: Five-Day Workshop-cum-Lecture Series on “Forensic Science and Police Administration” started at the Centre for Police Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr. L. S. Rana, who served as the Key Speaker for the workshop. Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson, Centre for Police Administration, introduced the theme of the workshop and formally introduced the distinguished speaker. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 50 participants including students, research scholars, and faculty members from the Centre.
During the session, Dr. L. S. Rana delivered an insightful lecture on crime science, crime typology, and the procedure of crime scene management, emphasising the importance of scientific methods in effective policing and investigation.
Earlier, the session began with a welcome address by Dr. Shaveta Begra, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sanjeev Ranjan.
