Fit India Movement, 2022-23

Jalandhar, May 20, 2022: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society sets up an example by ensuring the best for the students. The  priority is to provide a holistic approach towards the   health and well-being of our students, by keeping healthy balance of mind and body.  A Yoga Camp was organized in school under the Fit India Movement . The students zestfully participated in this to step towards a more physically active lifestyle. The students discussed the importance of yoga and exhibited various yoga postures.
 
The Principal, S Chauhan acknowledged the efforts of the students, parents and teachers. She also threw light on the importance of yoga telling how it is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment. Yoga brings harmony between man and nature. Apart from this, she encouraged the students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.
 
The President of Vasal Education Society, KK Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal, The Director Aditi Vasal and The CEO Raghav Vasal lauded the ebullient participation of the Ivyians. They emphasized on the significance of fitness activities and said that students are the best ambassadors to carry forward the legacy of an active lifestyle. Such events help in understanding the significance of intrinsically healthy way of life.
