First video of Mehar Chand Mahajan, Boys Hostel Number 1, Panjab University, launched

Chandigarh, February 24, 2022: The first video of Mehar Chand Mahajan, Boys Hostel Number 1, Panjab University, Chandigarh was launched by Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh on 24th Feb. 2021. The video features the facilities provided to the university residents and various activities carried out in the hostel throughout the year.
This initiative was progressively supported by the DSWs  Prof. Jagtar Singh, Prof. Meena Sharma and Prof. Ashok Kumar. On this video release, Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Warden, BH1 said that the video provides a glimpse of the efforts put by the residents and staff to make hostel a lively place for students while they are away from their families. He further added that this video is also a part of the University’s initiative headed by Director, Public Relations to showcase the positive activities carried out in the hostel for comprehensive growth of students.
