Addressing the gathering here the Dalai Lama said that he was scheduled to go to Delhi for a regular medical checkup but he didn't go because he is having good health and he can even play boxing with the doctor. He postured as a boxing player too.

This is the first public appearance of the Dalai Lama after over two years of pandemic.

Thousands of Tibetans including monks, nuns, MPs, CTA president and his cabinet ministers of the Tibetan government-in-exile, gather here this morning to attend the spiritual discourse.

Tenzing Jigme, a Tibetan Parliamentarian replied to the media by saying, "This is a very beautiful day and we are getting to see his Holiness for more than two years. One of the most fortunate things about today is that His Holiness said that he is fine and he is healthy so we pray for his long life. So we are really feeling happy and blessed to see his Holiness fine."

Parveen and Anju Sharma, a tourist couple from Noida when asked about this teaching said, “It’s our first time to attend His Holiness teaching and it’s really wonderful to see him so close. It is really wonderful."
