First Graduation Ceremony at Horizon School of Excellence
Horizon School of Excellence, a unique initiative of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust and Shri Gow Rakshni Sabha, provides quality education to children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The school hosted its first Graduation Ceremony for the Class II students in the school’s open-air amphitheatre.
Ludhiana, March 21, 2026: Horizon School of Excellence, a unique initiative of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust and Shri Gow Rakshni Sabha, provides quality education to children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The school hosted its first Graduation Ceremony for the Class II students in the school’s open-air amphitheatre.
Vice Chairman, Bipin Gupta, and the school’s Principal, Jasdeep Kaur, extended a warm and ‘green’ welcome to the Chief Guest, Gauri Chhabra. Chhabra is a member of the school advisory council.
The function began with the lamp lighting ceremony, followed by an enchanting welcome song by students from Classes III and IV. The event was hosted by Class II students – Nainika and Mhd. Ahmadullah. They took the audience through the event with their charming and confident stage anchoring.
The students presented an engaging academic showcase on Fun with Numbers, World Around Us, and the three languages they learn—English, Hindi, and Punjabi—demonstrating their learning in the foundational years and their readiness for the Preparatory Stage.
This was followed by a Punjabi poem recital and a well-rehearsed, heartwarming graduation song that beautifully reflected their excitement and positive energy as they step into a new phase of learning. The highlight of the event was the handing over of the graduation scrolls to the students of Class II by Gauri Chhabra and Bipin Gupta. This was followed by the graduating students marching out confidently.
Gauri Chhabra, in her address to the gathering, highlighted the importance of value education in today’s fast-growing times.
Admission letters were handed over to the parents of students joining the Ankur class for the session 2026–27 by the Vice Chairman and the Chief Guest. The purpose of the graduation ceremony was to mark the successful completion of foundational learning and to celebrate that the students are now ready to step into the Preparatory Stage with confidence.
