First counselling for Diploma in Stock Market and Trading Operations on Aug 20

Ludhiana, August 16, 2014: The First counselling for the UGC Community College “Diploma in Stock Market and Trading Operations” will be held on August 20at 9 a.m in the Seminar hall of the SCD Government College Ludhiana. The Panjab University has extended last date to get admission in this programme upto August 31. The admission to the vacant seats will continue till the filling of all the seats.  The students can submit the admission form from 9 a.m to 2 p.m even on August 18 for which special counter has been established in the Computer centre of SCD Government College Ludhiana. 

The aim of this course is to create stock market professionals by giving strong fundamental  knowledge and the most modern job-oriented practical training. Duration: One Year ( Two Semesters of 6 Months Each)  The Course content of the Programme cover Computer Fundamentals and Stock Market Trading, Basics of Stock and Financial Markets,  Stock Market Operations, Economics for Stock and Financial Market, Analysis of Financial Statements, Risk management and Surveillance System in Stock Exchanges, Financial Instruments, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management.  The course will be having 60 Credits with 900 teaching hours in a span of one year. The University Grants Commission will be offering Scholarships to all the students for completing this programme. The Panjab University Chandigarh will be awarding the Diploma on the successful completion of the programme provided students get passed in all the two semesters. The Programme is covered under the National Skill development mission of the Government of India and any students who have passed atleast 10+2 can get the admission in the programme. The is no age bar to get the admission in the programme and programme will be useful for graduates and post graduates which aspires to enhance their skills in the finance, portfolio management, security analysis and stock market.
