FICO urges Punjab Minister for Industries to save industry from another forced lock down

Ludhiana: A delegation of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO) under the leadership of K.K. Seth Chairman FICO along with Gurmeet Singh Kular President and Rajeev Jain General Secretary FICO met Sunder Sham Arora Industry and Commerce Minister Punjab and requested to arrange free trains to bring back the labourers from UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, M.P. to Punjab otherwise the industry will face another forced lockdown.

The delegates said the state government has allowed the labour to move out of Punjab free of cost in trains. The situation in industry is very critical, and revival will be very difficult. 
Moreover, the revenue of Punjab State from the industry will also be negligible. 
So, it is the high time, that the Punjab government should arrange to bring back the labourers from their native states at the earliest.
Rakesh Pandey MLA and ex-Minister and Ramesh Joshi Senior Vice Chairman Punjab Large industries Board were among those present.
