FICO demands smooth traffic flow till SPS Hospital on service lane

Ludhiana: Mr. Gurmeet Singh Kular President along with Mr. Satnam Singh Makkar Propaganda Secretary FICO (Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization) demanded the proper road for smooth traffic flow on service road along with G.T. Road, till SPS Hospital Ludhiana, from Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana and Mr. Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal IAS Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana along with Mr. Balkar Singh Sandhu Mayor Ludhiana.

Mr. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO said that the SPS Hospital is one of the prime hospital in Ludhiana, and the road to approach it is totally worn out due to water logging, which is causing heavy traffic congestions, it usually takes hours to reach SPS Hospital from Dhandari in Peak hours, especially in these crucial period of COVID-19, the connectivity to prime hospitals like SPS Hospital should be proper, if a it is taking 2 hours for a patient to reach hospital then what we can expect. He urged the DC Ludhiana to personally intervene and look into the miserable condition of the said roads and get it fixed on war footage.
Mr. Satnam Singh Makkar Propaganda Secretary FICO & President DIWA (Dhandari Industrial Welfare Association) said that, there used to be few entry, and exit points to the G.T. Road, but now only one entry/exit points is left before Dhandari, causing all the city traffic to move through the Service Road, which is totally broken due to rains, also the sides of the service road are congested with the trucks on either sides, leaving a single road for traffic movement. When the G.T. Road passes through Ludhiana, why don’t the citizens of Ludhiana are allowed to use the road, why all the city traffic is put on the Service Lanes.

The condition of the road should be improved on war footage to facilitate the citizens of Ludhiana.
