FICO delegation visits Buchel & Rodger in Germany

Ludhiana, August 28, 2014 : A delegation of Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisations (FICO), Ludhiana under the leadership of Harjeet Singh Sondh (Vice Chairman) visited Buchel &  Rode, largest manufacturers of bicycles spokes, brass nipples and mudguards  in Germany.
According to the FICO president Gurmeet Singh, the company has unique technique in manufacturing of mudguards. “They manufactured the painted mudguards but in India we first do rolling then do paint on it”, he said, adding the former method saves manpower and time.
The system of manufacturing in Germany is so advanced that CR Strip for the manufacturing is purchased painted in different colours. In the process a layer of plastic sheet is fixed during rolling to avoid scratches on the mudguards.
Harjeet Singh Sondh Vice Chairman,  Gurmeet Singh Kular, Manjinder Singh Sachdeva (General Secretary), Padam Aul of Appu International  and Vikas Chopra of Chopra Engineers were among those included in delegation.
