FICO Delegation Flagged Off for EUROBIKE 2026, Germany

Ludhiana, June 24, 2026: A 22-member delegation of the Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO) has been flagged off for participation in EUROBIKE 2026, the world's leading trade exhibition for bicycles, e-bikes, cycling components, and sustainable mobility solutions, being held at Frankfurt, Germany, from 24th to 27th June 2026.

The flag-off ceremony was conducted by S.S. Reikhi, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Ludhiana, along with K.K. Seth, Chairman, FICO, in the presence of Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO, and Avtar Singh Bhogal, Convenor, UCPMA. The 22-member delegation comprises leading entrepreneurs and industrialists from the bicycle and allied sectors. Rajesh Seth will lead the delegation during the visit.

Addressing the gathering, Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO, stated that EUROBIKE 2026 is a premier international platform that brings together industry leaders, innovators, manufacturers, dealers, and technology providers from across the globe. The exhibition showcases the latest advancements in bicycles, e-bikes, components, accessories, and sustainable mobility solutions while providing opportunities to explore emerging market trends, technological innovations, and international business collaborations.

He further said that exposure to global best practices and cutting-edge technologies would greatly benefit Ludhiana's bicycle and allied industries by enhancing their competitiveness and helping them explore new export opportunities in international markets.

During the visit, the FICO delegation will also undertake an industrial tour of the manufacturing facility of Holland Mechanics B.V. in the Netherlands, a globally renowned manufacturer of advanced bicycle wheel-building and production machinery. The delegation members will gain firsthand exposure to state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, automation systems, quality control practices, and innovative production processes adopted by leading international bicycle industry players. The visit is expected to provide valuable insights for technological upgradation and productivity enhancement within the Indian bicycle industry.
