FICO Chairman to Sign MoU with Government of Punjab to give employment to 20000 youth

Ludhiana, September 4, 2017: Shri K.K.Seth Chairman, Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization, popularly known as FICO well sign and Memorandum of understanding with Captain Amrinder Singh Chief Minister government of Punjab to give employment to 20000 skilled youth in the industry of Punjab, on September 5.
FICO is ready to absorb 20000 unemployed but skilled youth both men & women in the industry. There is a need for Special training courses to be provided to the unemployed youth, courses should be customized as per the requirements of that particular area where they want to secure a good job. As industrial zones in Punjab are different like, Ludhiana is more into Bicycle Industry, Hosiery & Textile Industry, Jalandhar industry is more into hand tools, Mohali is more into IT Sector. More Multi Skill development centers are needed where courses should be focused as on local industry’s needs, so that industry will be able to absorb more youth and make them employed.
