FICO celebrated World Environment Day and pledged to plant 10000 saplings
Today, on the World Environment Day, Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO) carried out the Plantation Drive at Vishwakarma Park, Jaimal Road, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana, and planted more than 100 plants at Vishwakarma Park.
Ludhiana, June 5, 2026: Today, on the World Environment Day, Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO) carried out the Plantation Drive at Vishwakarma Park, Jaimal Road, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana, and planted more than 100 plants at Vishwakarma Park.
Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO said that on the World Environment Day we need to reconsider our priorities as the foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from nature. Yet, these are exceptional times in which nature is sending us a message to care for ourselves we must care for nature. It’s time to build back better for People and Planet. This World Environment Day, it’s Time for Nature. Let us give our future generations A Healthier and Happier Environment. He said that that FICO will plant around 10000 trees at its members premises in the upcoming rainy season, to curb the global warming., He said FICO members can get 10 to 50 saplings from FICO, that they will not only sow, but also take care of them at their premises.
