FICO Announces New Office Bearers for the Year 2026–27

The Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO–IamSMEofIndia) celebrated its 13th Founders’ Day at Hotel Maharaja Regency, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana. Founded on 07 October 2013 by a group of 13 friends, FICO has grown into a strong family of more than 2,800 members and continues to expand its reach and influence. The event brought together FICO’s office bearers to celebrate the organization’s journey, achievements, and future plans.

FICO Announces New Office Bearers for the Year 2026–27

Ludhiana, October 10, 2026: The Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization (FICO–IamSMEofIndia) celebrated its 13th Founders’ Day at Hotel Maharaja Regency, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana. Founded on 07 October 2013 by a group of 13 friends, FICO has grown into a strong family of more than 2,800 members and continues to expand its reach and influence. The event brought together FICO’s office bearers to celebrate the organization’s journey, achievements, and future plans.
Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO, presented the annual report, highlighting the organization’s major achievements during the past year. He also shared his vision for the coming year, focusing on strengthening member support, promoting industrial growth, and providing new opportunities for MSMEs. 
The Founders’ Day celebrations were attended by FICO’s office bearers and included a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the successful completion of 13 years of the organization.
On the occasion, K.K. Seth Chairman FICO announced the following appointments for the term 2026–27: Harpal Singh Bhamber – Joint Secretary, FICO; Avtar Singh Bhogal – Head, Bicycle Division, FICO; Athrav Gupta – Head, Young Leaders’ Forum, FICO.
Hapal Singh Bhamber is a prominent industrialist known for his extensive contribution to industrial automation and manufacturing advancement. Through his business ventures, he has worked tirelessly to modernise production processes, enhance efficiency, and promote technological innovation. A former President of Janta Nagar Small Factories’ Association, he actively represents industrial interests and supports the growth of MSMEs.
Avtar Singh Bhogal has been leading M.S. Bhogal N Sons since 1972, carrying forward the legacy of late Mohinder Singh Bhogal, the pioneer of bicycle parts manufacturing. Established in 1938, the company manufactures bicycle and auto parts using self-developed technology. Under his leadership, the company has earned national and state-level recognition and exports quality products to advanced markets, including the USA and Australia.
Atharav Gupta is actively contributing to the promotion of green energy and solar solutions through Alpha Power, based in Ludhiana. He focuses on providing sustainable solar installations for residential, commercial, and industrial establishments, helping reduce electricity costs, dependence on conventional energy, and carbon emissions while encouraging wider adoption of renewable energy.
These appointments reflect FICO’s commitment to strengthening its organizational structure, promoting young leadership, and further supporting the industrial community.
Manjinder Singh Sachdeva, General Secretary, FICO, extended his best wishes to the newly appointed office bearers and expressed confidence that the team would continue to work towards the growth of FICO and the welfare of its members.
