Ferozepur, August 23, 2013:The Ferozepur Train Commuters Association have submitted a memorandum to Divisional Rail Manager, Northern Railway Ferozepur Divison for changing the time of Ferozepur-Rewari train.
Giving this information, Jimmy Manchanda, commuter and active member of TCA said, “There are two trains from Ferozepur in the early morning one at 5.20 AM for Ferozepur-Ganganagar and second at 5.40 AM for Ferozeur-Rewari with mere a difference of only 20 minutes on the same route up to Fazilka which is about 120 KMs from Ferozepur.”
He further said, while it is inconvenient for the commuters especially the students, businessman to board the train so early as the next train is at 10.15 AM from Ferozepur to Fazilka. Moreover, there is not too much rush in the second train and the people have to board the bus to reach their destinations”.
Jimmy said, “The association has apprised the DRM so many times but the same has not so far been changed causing a lot of inconvenience to the public”.
