Ferozepur, June 2, 2022: Ferozepur DC Amrit Singh formally launched the Habitat Centre at the Westend Sports Complex of Dass & Brown World School situated on border road of the city. Hundreds of people from all walks of life besides dignitaries of the town attended the event.

 It is pertinent to mention here that the Habitat Centre is one of its kinds “Family Wellness and Sports Hub” where special arrangements have been made for Swimming, Shooting, Golf, Archery, Badminton, Roller Skating, Cricket, Taekwando, Yoga etc. at one place. 

After formal launching of the Habitat Centre, Principal Yachna Chawla welcomed the guests while Deputy Director Manjit Singh Dhillon provided detailed information regarding the Habitat Centre. 

Deputy Commissioner Amrit Singh expressed happiness after visiting the centre. She said that she herself had been a state level badminton player and she is excited to see this place. While appreciating the efforts, she said that such initiatives help in boosting the mental and intellectual development of human beings. 
Ajalpreet Sharma, Head Sports said that the shooting range and swimming pool would be a gift to the people of Ferozepur. Local residents will be able to make themselves and their children proficient in favorite sports by taking their membership in the Habitat Center. 

CEO Dr. Anirudh Gupta said that after coming to the Habitat Center, the families of Ferozepur would get an opportunity to enjoy all kind of sports at one place. He said that the people will be able to overcome the stress while enjoying quality time with their family members. 

On this occasion Principal Yachana Chawla, Principal Manish Panwar, Deputy Principal Manish Banga, VP Dr. Celine, Dr. Kamal Baghi, Red Cross Secretary Ashok Behal, Dr. Satinder Singh, Dr. Piyush Gupta, Deepak Sharma, Prof. Gazalpreet Singh, Vipul Narang, Gouri Mehta, Anurag Aeiri and others were present.
