Federal Bank Inaugurates Currency Chest at Malappuram, Strengthening Cash Management Infrastructure in Kerala
Federal Bank has inaugurated its Currency Chest at Malappuram, further reinforcing its cash management capabilities and operational infrastructure in Kerala. With this, the bank has 11 currency chests across India. One of the largest currency chests in Kerala, the newly established facility is expected to play a vital role in enhancing currency distribution and cash management efficiency across the region.
Malappuram: Federal Bank has inaugurated its Currency Chest at Malappuram, further reinforcing its cash management capabilities and operational infrastructure in Kerala. With this, the bank has 11 currency chests across India. One of the largest currency chests in Kerala, the newly established facility is expected to play a vital role in enhancing currency distribution and cash management efficiency across the region.
Praveen Kumar Vasantha Ramachandran, Regional Director for Kerala and Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Reserve Bank of India, inaugurated the Currency Chest in the presence of Venkatraman Venkateswaran, Executive Director, Federal Bank.
The event was attended by senior officials of the Bank, including Babu Thomas, Senior Vice President & Head – Retail Operations; Regi C V, Senior Vice President & Head – Special Projects & Real Estate; Binu Thomas, Vice President & Zonal Head, Kozhikode; Anooplal C, Deputy Vice President-II & Regional Head, Malappuram; Dileesh T. S, Deputy Vice President-II & Head – Payments and Settlements; and Sreerag M., Associate Vice President & Currency Chest Head, Malappuram.
