Federal Bank Conducts 95th Annual General Meeting

The Ninety Fifth Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of Federal Bank was conducted over video conferencing (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM) on Friday. The meeting was presided over by Bank’s Chairman Elias George and joined by MD & CEO K V S Manian, other Directors, Shareholders, Senior Executives, representatives of Statutory and Secretarial Auditors of the Bank.

Kochi, August 21, 2026: The Ninety Fifth Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of Federal Bank was conducted over video conferencing (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM) on Friday. The meeting was presided over by Bank’s Chairman Elias George and joined by MD & CEO K V S Manian, other Directors, Shareholders, Senior Executives, representatives of Statutory and Secretarial Auditors of the Bank.
In the meeting, all the resolutions were approved by the shareholders including Adoption of Audited Financial Statements for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2026, along with the declaration of a final dividend of ₹1.20 per equity share for FY 2025-26, and other resolutions as stated in the 95th AGM Notice.
While addressing the shareholders, the Bank’s Chairman Elias George said, “Your Bank has demonstrated a stellar performance in FY 26, attaining robust increase in growth and profitability, without sacrificing financial prudence.”
In his address to shareholders, KVS Manian highlighted the Bank’s theme for the year, “Disciplined Growth. Sustained Momentum.”, noting that sustainable progress comes from balancing ambition with prudence and agility with sound judgement. He pointed to key milestones including crossing ₹1 lakh crore in CASA deposits and in non-resident deposits, improved profitability metrics, and Blackstone’s investment in the Bank, as signs of the trust placed in the Bank by customers and investors alike.  Highlighting the vision behind the refreshed brand identity, he stated that “Familiar, Yet Fresh” encapsulates the institution’s commitment to preserving the values, trust, and character that define Federal, while embracing fresh thinking, enhanced capabilities, and new opportunities for growth and transformation. He added that Federal Bank’s aim is not merely to become larger, but to become broader in capability, deeper in relevance, and increasingly national in character while remaining firmly anchored in trust and discipline.
