In a recent heartfelt conversation celebrated chef Vikas Khanna opened up about his adventure-packed journey with Ranveer Allahbadia, the popular influencer and host of ‘Mountain Dew Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai Stories’ on The Ranveer Show. 

Vikas Khanna talked about working with the greatest chefs in the world such as the legendary Gordon Ramsay, the flavor maestro Daniel Bullard, and the seafood sorcerer Éric Ripert, just to name a few, while candidly sharing his journey of overcoming challenges in a foreign land and successfully establishing his food empire, earning his inaugural Michelin Star along the way. He peeled back the layers of his remarkable journey, unveiling the emotional battles fought against prejudices as an expat in countries like the USA and France. Vikas Khanna spoke about the relentless scrutiny and harsh criticism faced on foreign soil as an Indian origin chef, and how his indomitable spirit defied all judgments. The emotional journey extended beyond international borders, delving into Vikas's humble beginnings—starting with a kitchen from Amritsar, the relentless pursuit of culinary expertise in Manipal, amongst others. 

Sharing his approach to facing challenges head-on, Vikas Khanna revealed, "Dealing with difficulties is just a part of life; you've got to face them and overcome them to reach your full potential. Fear, in my case, has been a key driver. But it's the mix of discipline, courage, and a deep love for combining food with art that keeps me moving forward. The commitment to fulfilling the promises I made to my family keeps me motivated, no matter what obstacles come my way."

In a deep dive, he also bared his soul about overcoming the fear of loss of his sister, and how he channeled that pain to rise up courageously following his philosophy of "Take Your Broken Heart and Turn it into Art”.
