During a fashion show, SUPVA students presented a blend of traditional and modern Indian attire, walking the ramp with the poise and professionalism of seasoned models.
Notably, GJU has designated DLC SUPVA as a creative partner for the 'Aksharam' festival. Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, a delegation comprising 140 students, faculty members, and staff from SUPVA is participating in the event. Across various stages and venues, SUPVA students are dazzling the audience with the brilliance of their performances.
On Saturday—the second day of 'Aksharam'—SUPVA students executed a flawless catwalk during the fashion show, moving with measured steps amidst a play of colorful lights and diverse musical beats. Emulating professional models, the students walked the ramp with confidence, perfect posture, and rhythmic strides while showcasing specially designed garments and creative products; their performance drew thunderous applause that reverberated throughout the auditorium.
Meanwhile, on the first day of 'Aksharam,' the SUPVA band delivered a vibrant, two-hour-long performance at the open-air theater. The band commenced their performance by paying homage to Lord Shiva with a rendition of the song "Shiv Shiv Shankara."
Additionally, with the aim of acquainting visitors with their creative endeavors, DLC SUPVA has organized an art exhibition. This exhibition showcases the activities undertaken by the faculties of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, and Film & Television, featuring various models and creative works produced by the students. The exhibition was inaugurated by the renowned singer and music composer, Anu Malik, who performed the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. While viewing the exhibition, he appreciated the activities of SUPVA.
