Fashion Paragon Mega Model Hunt organized at PCTE Group of Institutes

Ludhiana, September 19, 2019: The Department of Fashion Design of PCTE Group of Institutes organized a Fashion Paragon -Mega Model Hunt where around 80 students from various departments participated in the prelims round of western wear and displayed the glamorous site of themselves.

In the prelims, the participants had an individual walk round and a couple walk round where they were judged on the basis of their outfit, walk confidence and elegance. Out of 80 students, 15 girls and 15 boys were shortlisted for the final round of ethnic wear in which five titles namely Mr. / Miss. Paragon, Mr./Miss. Photogenic Face, Mr. / Miss. Bright Smile, Mr./ Miss. Elegant, Mr./ Miss. Best Outfit would be given to the winning participants.

Desta one of the participants from B. Sc. FD 3rd Year from Indonesia said that initially she was worried and was feeling reluctant to walk across the stage, but when she completed the first round, the feeling that she got was amazing, she further added by saying that PCTE has always helped in pushing her limits and perform.

Ruchi Chopra, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Fashion Design said that the main motive of organizing the event was to give a chance to all the students to see the beauty in themselves and events like these help the students build confidence, and she further added by saying that the confidence comes as they walk across the stage.”

Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the faculty of fashion design on successfully organizing the event. He further added by saying that it’s an opportunity given to students to showcase their talent as well as garner valuable experiences; he further added by saying that participating in events like these will increase the confidence in the students to move ahead to a professional level.
