“Fame Doesn’t Last Forever”: Akshay Kumar Opens Up About the Reality of Stardom 

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar may rule millions of hearts today, but he clearly understands the temporary nature of fame. In a recent conversation, the actor spoke candidly about stardom, paparazzi attention, and the fear of a day when cameras and arc lights might no longer surround him.
Coming from the modest lanes of Chandni Chowk to becoming one of the top stars in the film industry, Akshay believes that such an opportunity doesn’t come to everyone, which is why he wants to live it to the fullest.
When asked about constant media attention and the presence of paparazzi, Akshay responded with remarkable ease, saying it has become a part of his life. He shared that sometimes he wakes up around 4:30 in the morning, and when he steps outside, the atmosphere already feels like it’s 9 a.m. because of the activity around him.
According to him, in a star’s life, the line between private and public time almost disappears. While the flashing cameras and public attention may appear glamorous, they also bring a unique kind of pressure. Speaking about the temporary nature of celebrity status, Akshay made a very honest confession. He said that a day may come when the cameras won’t be there and the arc lights may stop shining.
However, instead of fearing that moment, he prefers to focus on his work. Akshay said he wants to keep acting for as long as possible. From action and comedy to tragedy and emotional roles, he enjoys working across all kinds of films and doesn’t want to limit himself to any single genre.
Recalling his early days in Chandni Chowk, Akshay said he sees his career as an opportunity he never wants to lose. In his words, “I got this chance, and many people never get it. People love me and watch my films, so why should I leave it?”
