Faculty Development Programme at Apeejay College of Fine Arts

FDP being held at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on Saturday.

Jalandhar, January 24, 2015: A Faculty Development Programme was organised at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on Saturday, where Rakesh Chadha, President, Health Society of India was the chief speaker. Chadha informed the gathering that the Society was ‘Help India’ when it was initiated but later on developed into ‘Health Society of India’. Noted Hospitals of the District viz.New Ruby Hospital, Orthonova Hospital are already committed to the noble cause of providing free-of-cost consultation both to the teachers and the students along with 20% concession on medicine.

Thanking the College Authorities, Chadha further told that the College has committed to help the needy students in the domain of Fine Arts, Dance and Instrumental and Vocal Music by arranging Workshops for them. Dr. Sunit Kaur, Head, Department of English, thanked Chadha for inspiring and involving the faculty members into this cause of social welfare.

Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Principal, assured that the College and the faculty members shall continue to lend their maximum possible co-operation for the noble cause in the coming years as well.
