Extension lecture on human rights 

Ludhiana: Social Science Department of Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana organized an Extension Lecture on Human Rights. Advocate Mr. Rajesh Kapoor, an eminent lawyer was the resource person of the day. College Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur accompanied by S.Ranjodh Singh, President Ramgarhia Educational Council extended a floral welcome to the guest. 

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Kapoor said that human rights are the birth right of every single human being and nobody should be deprived of that. He said that it is very tragic that in spite of being educated we are not much aware of this fact. It is very important that awareness regarding the same should be spread to the every nook and corner of the society. 

Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur appreciated the initiative taken by the department and said that Extension Lecture on such topics should be part of our education system. It will create awareness for women section. S. Ranjodh Singh added that lectures of this kind are the need of the hour. We should learn from the injustice done to the people. He said that we should stand for our rights and make this country grow by leaps and bound. The lecture came to an end by an Interactive session.
