Chandigarh, March 28, 2026: Comprehensive scientific program including master video surgical sessions, panel discussions, research presentations, and deliberations on the latest advancements in laparoscopic and robotic hernia surgery marked the first day of two-day Young Hernia Society of India Conference, being organized by Hernia Society of India in association with the Punjab Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India here on Saturday .
Dr. Anupam Goel, organizing chairman of the conference said that conference brought together some of the finest surgical minds from across the country. This platform was not just about learning, but about shaping the future of hernia surgery through collaboration, innovation, and shared expertise, he asserted.
Around 400 leading surgeons, including 250 regional delegates, 100 national experts, and 75 industry professionals are taking part in the conference.
Padma Shri awardee Dr Pardeep Chowbey also joined the conference as an esteemed faculty member.
