Experts discuss factors like emotional intelligence, strategies: post pandemic in an Int’l panel discussion

Jalandhar: Keeping in mind the global health pandemic that has put the world to a standstill especially the changing education system, CT World School in collaboration with CT Public School under the guidance of the mentors Madhu Sharma, Principal, CT World School and Daljeet Rana, Principal CTPS organised an International Panel discussion on "Re-Imagining Education- Post Pandemic" wherein experts from different fields of education both national and international took part and shared their views.

List of panelists included names like Suchi(International motivational speaker, Singapore), Surjeet Singh(Deputy Headmaster, King's college, India),  Neeraj Mohan Puri (Principal, Modern Sandeepni School, Pathankot), Dr. Shama Hussain(Chairman, NIST, Muscat), Mahesh Iyer (Principal, Bhavans Indian School, Kuwait), Prem Kumar (Principal, Bhavans, Indian School, Kuwait) and Dr. Jayant Chowdhary, Chairman, IIJEF). 

The discussion was exceptionally presented and put forth by the moderators, Mukta Sharma, Educator, CT World School and Monis Shamsi, Founder, You can Foundation, Delhi. Certain important factors like emotional intelligence, strategies: post pandemic, value and skill based education, workforce were discussed via two sets of questionnaire. The experts not only answered the questions put forth by the moderators but also shared their personal experiences of how they have handled and overcame difficulties during this time. The efforts of both the schools were highly appreciated by the panelists. 

One of the speakers Suchi(International motivational speaker, Singapore) appreciated the efforts of the educators all over the world and stated that the role of teachers is highly significant in the present context of COVID-19 because it is the teacher who is acting as a learning facilitator of the young minds and is guiding them through online education.
Principal Madhu Sharma and Daljeet Rana appreciated the viewpoints of the panelists and remarked that in the past nine months, the world of education has shifted faster than it has in the past 200 years and reimagining education is the need of the hour.

Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group and Manbir Singh, Managing Director welcomed the views of the panelists and admired the role of educators during pandemic. They also thanked all the speakers for sparing their valuable time and for sharing their valuable inputs.
