Expert talk on Air quality and Aerosol research at PU
An expert talk on various aspects of Air quality and Aerosol research was delivered by Yutaka Matsumi, distinguished Emeritus Professor from Institute for Space-Earth Environment Research, Nagoya University, Japan, at the Department of Environment Studies (DEVS), Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, September 17, 2024: An expert talk on various aspects of Air quality and Aerosol research was delivered by Yutaka Matsumi, distinguished Emeritus Professor from Institute for Space-Earth Environment Research, Nagoya University, Japan, at the Department of Environment Studies (DEVS), Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Prof. Matsumi elaborated upon environmental monitoring through sensors for carbon monoxide, PM 2.5 and ozone. The talk highlighted various technologies adopted by India in the joint project AKASH between the Ministry of India and Japan government.
Dr. Suman Mor welcomed the team members Takayuki Yamazaki and Dr. Rajeev Kumar Chairperson of DEVS, gave a vote of thanks. About 70 participants attended the lecture.
