EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY ORGANIZED AT TIBRI CANTT, GURDASPUR

Jalandhar, December 27, 2018: Panther Division organised an ex-servicemen rally at Tibri Cantt, Gurdaspur on 27 Dec 2018. The event was attended by approximately 800 ex-servicemen and widows from Gurdaspur and Amritsar district. Maj Gen KS Brar, GOC 15 Inf Div and other senior army officers of Panther Division, ECHS representatives, Zila Sainik Welfare officers, civil dignitaries and government officers participated in the rally.
The event provided a platform to ex-servicemen and widows to interact with army and civil officials and seek redressal of their grievances. A medical and dental camp was also organised by army during the event. Assistance and information pavilions on recruitment, pension & other financial benefits, resettlement, aadhar registration and financial planning were also set up during the rally.
The GOC 15 Inf Div assured the ex-serviceman and widows that their welfare and well being shall always remain a priority for the Indian army.
