Dharamshala, October 1, 2025: Senior BJP leader, former minister, and MLA Vikram Singh Thakur on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working tirelessly for the nation and that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms introduced under his leadership are proving to be a boon for every section of society.
He said the GST system has strengthened the country’s integrated market, boosted industrial development, and emerged as a historic step toward eliminating corruption and ensuring economic empowerment.
“Today, small shopkeepers, traders, farmers, and ordinary consumers are all directly benefiting from the Modi government’s public welfare policies. Unlike Congress, which only made hollow statements, Modi is actually delivering results,” Thakur remarked.
He further stated that during the Congress regime, people never experienced real economic relief, but under Modi’s universal tax reforms, all sections of society are seeing tangible benefits.
“Modi’s goal is not limited to politics; it is about improving the quality of life of every Indian. GST will make the country self-reliant and strong,” Thakur added.
