Euphonic Sisters make city proud at India Next Master Kid Contest

Chandigarh: The Euphonic Sisters, Lovanaya Sharma (17) and Annanaya Sharma (14), have made Chandigarh proud by being the finalist in the India Next Master Kid, an online singing contest, organized by Drishti Entertainers, Mumbai. Grand finale of the event took place on Saturday, while the final results are to be announced soon. Both are studying at Govt Senior Secondary School, Sector 20 and 21, in Chandigarh.

Mrs Ramnik Sharma, a business woman and mother of the girls, said, “Both the sisters were selected for the contest in the auditions held in Chandigarh on 7th July, 2019. Quarter finals of the event was held on 2nd November, 2019. After that everything was put on hold due to Covid pandemic followed by Lockdown. The activity resumed recently with the Semi finals held last month. I am hopeful of the best outcome.”

Lovanaya is the student of 12th standard at the Govt Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 21A, Chandigarh and Annanaya is studying in class 9th at the Govt Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 20D, Chandigarh. Both sing duets for their Youtube channel - Euphonic Sisters. They have also performed at many open mic events held in tricity. They sing solos also.

“Their Instagram and Facebook pages - Euphonic Sisters – are also quite popular among the netizens,” said father, Amandeep Sharma, a businessman.
