Erya Jain got First Prize in On spot Painting Competition at two-day 'Flower and Baby Show' at Nehru Rose Garden organised by Civic body
Two-day 'Flower and Baby Show' of Municipal Corporation (MC) Ludhiana was inaugurated by Ludhiana West MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi at Nehru Rose Garden on Saturday. Large number of residents thronged the show on the first day and healthy competitions were witnessed on second day.

Ludhiana, February 25, 2024: Two-day 'Flower and Baby Show' of Municipal Corporation (MC) Ludhiana was inaugurated by Ludhiana West MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi at Nehru Rose Garden on Saturday. Large number of residents thronged the show on the first day and healthy competitions were witnessed on second day.
Many School students, government departments, institutes etc participated in the competitions.
Erya Jain, 11 years, a student of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, conferred with First Prize in On Spot Painting Competition and got trophy and certificate. MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
MC officials including Executive Engineer Manjitinder Singh, Executive Engineer Surinder Singh, JE Kirpal Singh, Health officer Vipal Malhotra among others also participated in the show on Sunday.
Different competitions including Baby Show (for different age groups), 'cut flower' competition, Rangoli, painting competitions etc also held on the second day of the show.
