Er Harjit Singh Gill appointed as Chief Engineer at Central Zone Ludhiana

Ludhiana, May 4, 2022: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has appointed Er Harjit Singh Gill as Chief Engineer (Distribution) at Central Zone Ludhiana.
He has been posted here after the retirement of Er. Jasvir Singh.
Er. Harjit Singh Gill had last served as Chief Engineer (Commercial) in Patiala and he has a rich experience of 32 years in PSPCL.
Born on March 03, 1967, Er. Harjit Singh Gill did his graduation from Guru Nanak Engineering College Ludhiana and then joined PSPCL as Assistant Engineer on November 02, 1989. Following which, he served on various positions and mainly worked in Operation, Enforcement, Billing, Technical, Audit and Commercial wings of PSPCL.
Er. Harjit Singh Gill took charge as Chief Engineer at Central Zone Ludhiana on Wednesday.
He said that he will keep a close vigil on the functioning of the departments and will take requisite measures to improve the departments’ working.
“As Er Baldev Singh Sran, CMD PSPCL and DPS Grewal, Director Distribution have given me the charge of Ludhiana which an industrial hub, my priority will be to ensure proper supply of power to the industrial sector and to find remedies for the issues being faced by them,” he said while ensuring the management of PSPCL that he will work diligently.
