Entry of Outsiders Barred Through Gate No. 3 at Panjab University
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and ensure the safety of students, staff and faculty, Panjab University has issued guidelines to regulate the entry of visitors into the campus.

Chandigarh, January 23, 2026: As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and ensure the safety of students, staff and faculty, Panjab University has issued guidelines to regulate the entry of visitors into the campus.
As per the guidelines, entry of outsiders into the campus through Gate No. 3 shall not be permitted. This gate will be reserved exclusively for Panjab University faculty, staff and students holding valid stickers or passes issued by the competent authority.
Outsiders will be allowed to enter the campus only through Gate No. 1 and Gate No. 2 after due verification by security personnel. Visitors will be required to record their personal details in the Entry Register at the gate and may also be asked to deposit their Registration Certificate (RC) or Driving Licence at the entry point.
