Entry in High Court strictly on RFID Card

Chandigarh, August 26, 2013: A spokesperson of Punjab and Haryana High court informed that due to security reasons, from 26-8-2013 onwards the entry of the litigants and general public in the high court premises will be permitted only after checking visitors ‘Radio Frequency Identification Cards (RFID).

He said that the visitors RFID Cards shall be issued to the litigants/general public at the gate pass counter in the High Court premises on the production of Government approved identifications like Aadhar Card, Voter Card, Driving License and Identity Card etc. He said that to avoid inconvenience, the general public/litigants are advised to bring any of the above mentioned Government approved identifications.
