Entrepreneurial India: MSME Day' to be celebrated on June 27 at Vigyan Bhawan

The union Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is organising 'Entrepreneurial India-MSME Day' at Vigyan Bhavan here on the occasion of International Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Day on June 27th. union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane will be the chief guest at the event, while Minister of State (MSME) Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma will be the guest of honour.

New Delhi, June 24 (HS): The union Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is organising 'Entrepreneurial India-MSME Day' at Vigyan Bhavan here on the occasion of International Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Day on June 27th. union Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane will be the chief guest at the event, while Minister of State (MSME) Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma will be the guest of honour.

During this event, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises will launch various initiatives for the growth and development of Micro, small, and Medium Enterprises. These include the launch of Champions 2.0 portal and mobile app for geo-tagging of cluster projects and technology centres. The results of 'MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0' will also be announced during the event, and 'MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0' for women entrepreneurs will be launched. Apart from this, certificate distribution to Gold and Silver ZED-certified MSMEs, digital transfers of Rs 400 crore, and a margin money subsidy distribution programme to 10,075 PMEGP beneficiaries will be held. During this time, MoUs will also be signed between various organisations of the Government of India.

The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises aims to take several initiatives for micro, small, and Medium Enterprises through its schemes and activities. These include improving the business environment, encouraging innovation and the development of new products and services, promoting regional development and removing regional disparities, creating business opportunities in both domestic and global markets, and enabling MSMEs to adopt sustainable practises. This includes encouraging The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to continue to lay emphasis on creating employment opportunities across the country and enhancing the productivity and competitiveness of MSMEs.
