MDU has initiated preparations for the admission process for the academic session 2026-27, covering postgraduate (PG) courses, the three-year LLB (Honours) course, the B.P.Ed course, and various certificate, diploma, and PG diploma programs.

Rohtak, June 30, 2026: MDU has initiated preparations for the admission process for the academic session 2026-27, covering postgraduate (PG) courses, the three-year LLB (Honours) course, the B.P.Ed course, and various certificate, diploma, and PG diploma programs.

MDU’s Director of Public Relations, Sunit Mukherjee, stated that 12,364 online applications have been received for a total of 4,710 seats across these courses. The highest number of applications was received for the 240 seats in the three-year LLB (Honours) course, with 1,662 candidates applying.

Additionally, applications received include: 648 for 370 seats in the Faculty of Life Sciences; 978 for 440 seats in management courses; 711 for 180 seats in the LLM course; 483 for 60 seats in M.A. (English) under the Faculty of Humanities and Arts; 416 for 70 seats in the Department of Psychology (Faculty of Social Sciences); and 237 for 90 seats in M.Sc. Chemistry (Faculty of Physical Sciences).

Director PR, Sunit Mukherjee noted that 569 applications were received for 140 seats in computer science courses under the Faculty of Mathematical and Computational Sciences. Entrance examinations for these courses will be held from July 13 to July 17, with results to be released starting July 20. The first provisional merit list will be published on July 21, and the first round of admission counseling will commence on July 23. Meanwhile, the second round of admission counseling for undergraduate (UG) courses at MDU will begin on July 1.
