Entrance exams for PG course at MDU from 13 to 17 July; Results on July 20
Entrance examinations for admission to various postgraduate (PG) courses at MDU for the academic session 2026-27 will be held from July 13 to July 17, 2026. The results of the entrance exams will be declared on July 20, while the first provisional merit list will be released on July 21. The first round of physical counseling will commence on July 23, and classes for the new session will begin on August 1.

Rohtak, July 12, 2026: Entrance examinations for admission to various postgraduate (PG) courses at MDU for the academic session 2026-27 will be held from July 13 to July 17, 2026. The results of the entrance exams will be declared on July 20, while the first provisional merit list will be released on July 21. The first round of physical counseling will commence on July 23, and classes for the new session will begin on August 1.
MDU’s Director of Public Relations, Sunit Mukherjee, stated that on July 13, entrance exams for MA (Public Administration), MSc (Forensic Science), and MCom will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. A common entrance test for MBA, MBA (SFS), MBA (Business Psychology), MTTM, and MHMCT, along with the exam for MA (Sociology), will be conducted from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM. Entrance exams for courses under the Department of Psychology and for MA (Guidance and Counseling) will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM.
He further informed that on July 14, entrance exams will be conducted for MSc (Chemistry), MA (Journalism and Mass Communication), MSc (Mathematics), MSc (Physics), and various courses in the Life Sciences group. On July 15, entrance exams will be held for MA (Political Science), MA (History), and LLM, as well as the common entrance test for the three-year LLB (Honours) course.
The Director PR stated that examinations for MA (Geography, Sanskrit, Defence and Strategic Studies, Economics, Education, Fine Arts, Yoga Science, Hindu Studies), M.Ed., M.Sc. (Statistics), B.P.Ed., various courses in the Music Department, M.P.Ed., and M.Lib. will be held on July 16. Entrance examinations for MA (Hindi), MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc. (Data Science and Machine Learning), and M.Pharm. courses (Pharmaceutical Sciences group) will be conducted on July 17.
