Enthusiasm marks Inter House Sports Competitions at CT Public School


Inter House Sports Competitions being held at CT Public School, Jalandhar on Wednesday.

Jalandhar, July 23, 2014: A sense of excitement and jubilation permeated the environs of the CT Public School during Inter House Volleyball (Girls) and Kho-Kho (Boys) competitions on its premises. 

This enthusiastic day started with the hoisting of the school flag, the oath taking ceremony and a concatenation of sports events heralded the opening by the Chief Guest, Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman of CT Group of Institutions and Ranjana Rajput, Principal of CT Public School.

The playground of CT Public School was bubbling with activity and thrill as students entered the playfield with a fervor and fortitude to win. The opening ceremony began with a wonderful march past of the four houses which marched elegantly and smartly before the dignitaries.

In the volleyball competition, the girls of Marigold House secured the top notch, followed by Lotus House. On the other hand in the Kho-Kho competition, the boys of Lotus House won followed by Marigold house which stood second. Both the matches were very interesting and well played.

Principal of CT Public School, Ranjana Rajput congratulated the teams for their achievement and team spirit.  While, Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman of CT Group of Institutions stressed on the importance of games and sports activities in our life.
