Engineering week celebration 2019 at GNA University

Jalandhar, September 23, 2019: GNA University celebrated Engineering Week 2019 in the memory of Bharat Ratna awardee Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya organized by GU-CI (Centre for Innovation).
The week comprised of 3 workshops- Flying combat workshop, Bug- debug workshop and Go- Kart workshop). In total 10 technical competitions (Masters of machine, Fly levelling, face painting, product sketching, drafting & detailing, CAD contest, Electro- hunt, Cosmos: poster making, Robo race and Robo golf), 4 gaming competitions (PUBG, Counter- strike, mini miltia and ludo king) and project exhibition cum campus hackathon.
During the complete one week, students were encouraged to participate in the competitions and workshops to enhance their knowledge and its implementation in solving the real life problem. A significant number of enthusiastic students participated in each competition and the trophies & cash prizes were awarded to the winner and runner-up teams of every event.
The best engineering student of the year and department wise the best engineering student award were also given to the deserving candidates for their outstanding performance in academics and contribution in other predefined parameters.
