Chandigarh, September 8, 2025: The students of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, have achieved remarkable success in two prestigious robotics competitions.
The team Sudhanshu Rajput, Shreyvardhan Singh, Vansh Bansal, Divyansh Attri, Jas Aggarwal, and Himanshu made this possible through relentless day-and-night efforts, technical expertise, and engineering innovation, under the mentorship of Prof. Shankar Sehgal and UIET Director Prof. Sukhwinder Singh.
At Esya’25, the annual technical fest of IIIT Delhi, the UIET team secured the 3rd position in the Robowars Titanium Breakdown (8kg category), defeating more than 20 teams from across the country. They further demonstrated their skills at the Technoxian World Robotic Championship 2025, proudly reaching the Quarterfinals in the Robowars 8kg category, competing against leading national and international challengers.
These achievements are not just victories in competitions but a celebration of innovation, determination, and the spirit of engineering excellence at UIET, setting a strong benchmark for future endeavors in robotics and technology.
