Chandigarh, November 14, 2025: Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today conducted an Electoral Literacy Awareness Session.
The students of Bachelors and Masters of Library and Information Science along with the research scholars formed a human chain to raise awareness and encourage voting among young adults. The session aimed to enlighten students about the significance of votingand the pivotal role of the youth in democracy. The session was marked by a commendable turnout, including the professors as everyone participated enthusiastically.
This initiative is expected to contribute to increase civic participation and informed decision-making in future elections.
