Chandigarh, October 17, 2013: During the paddy season the Punjab Government today deputed eight senior IAS officers to monitor the smooth functioning of paddy procurement and its arrangements in the state.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that Roshan Sankaria would look after the Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Ludhiana, D.K. Tiwari to monitor Mukatsar and Faridkot, A.S. Pannu to monitor Patiala, Sangrur, Barnala and Fatehgarh Sahib, Vikas Pratap to monitor Roopnagar and SAS Nagar, V.K. Sharma to monitor Ferozepur, Fazilka and Moga, Kahan Singh Pannu would look after Mansa and Bathinda, R. Venkat Ratnam to monitor Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur & Pathankot and S.S. Bains would be look after the Hoshiarpur and SBS Nagar districts. www.cityairnews.com
