Jalandhar, September 13, 2025: The Post Graduate Department of Political Science, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, organized an educational tour to the Haryana Legislative Assembly and the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to attend a live session of the Legislative Assembly as well as witness the court proceedings in progress, which proved to be highly educative and informative.
College Principal Dr. Suman Chopra informed that a group of 21 students from the department were warmly welcomed by the Honourable Speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, and were given the valuable opportunity to observe the functioning of both the Assembly and the High Court.
Dr. Anu Kumari, Head of the Department, expressed that the tour served as an enriching learning experience for the students.
The visit was also witnessed and guided by Dr. Ajitpal Singh, faculty member of the department.
