Rohtak, March 6, 2026: A comprehensive educational program on skill enhancement and employment opportunities for dental surgeons was organized at PGIDS, Rohtak, aimed at guiding young dental professionals about emerging career opportunities and the importance of developing advanced professional skills in the rapidly evolving field of dentistry.
The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Sanjay Tiwari, along with senior faculty members and representatives from Clove Dental, by lighting the lamp.
In his address, Lt. Gen. Dr. Vimal Arora highlighted the diverse career opportunities available after BDS and MDS. He stated that dentistry has now moved beyond traditional clinical practice and includes various interdisciplinary and technologically driven opportunities.
Principal Dr. Sanjay Tiwari said that opportunities for dental professionals in areas such as software design, digital platforms, orthodontic treatment planning, patient communication, infection control, and medical jurisprudence were discussed.
Dr. Manjunath said that participants gained valuable insight into the career opportunities available to dental surgeons and the importance of professional development. Faculty members, senior residents, PG students, interns, and final-year BDS students were present during the program.
