ECTOPIA-2023 got off to a colourful start

Ludhiana, May 24, 2023: Three-day cultural festival ‘ECTOPIA-2023’ today got off to a colorful start in Dumra Auditorium, where students of various batches participated. The function was formally inaugurated by Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, Mukesh Verma, Treasurer, DMC&H Managing Society, Principal Dr Sandeep Puri, Medical Supdt Dr Sandeep Sharma, and Dean Academics Dr Sandeep Kaushal along with other faculty members.

The newsletter ‘ECTOPIA TIMES 2023’ was released by the dignitaries present on the occasion. The theme of ‘ECTOPIA-2023’is Atlantis- under the Sea.

Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society lauded the efforts of the students organisers and wished the event to be a success.

In his message, Principal Dr Sandeep Puri said that the annual cultural festival ‘ECTOPIA’ is the most awaited event by the faculty and students as well. It gives students a big relief from their hectic study schedule. Students long to participate in this festival, as it gives them a chance to show their extra-curricular talents. Dr Puri mentioned that ‘ECTOPIA’ was started in the institute more than twenty years back, and still it has not lost its sheen and popularity among the faculty and students.

The morning session of ‘ECTOPIA-2023’ today started with A Quiz, themed “Atlas” between batches from 2018 to2022 followed by Inauguration by the dignitaries present. Event also had competitions like Duet dance, Stand Up, AD Fad, Solo singing and dancing and a beautiful “Ballroom Night” in the evening.
