Eco Club of PCM S.D. College for Women organises Tree Plantation Drive to Celebrate Earth Day
To support the cause of environment protection, the Eco Club of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Tree Plantation Drive on the occasion of Earth Day, which falls on 22nd April every year.

Jalandhar, May 7, 2025: To support the cause of environment protection, the Eco Club of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Tree Plantation Drive on the occasion of Earth Day, which falls on 22nd April every year.
The Club is supported by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, GOI under Environment Education Programme, State Nodal Agency Punjab State Council for Science and Technology and CDC, GNDU. Students and faculty members of the college planted saplings in the campus and also took pledge to make their dedicated efforts towards the cause of environment conservation.
The event successfully raised awareness about the pressing issue of environmental degradation and highlighted the role of plants and trees in saving our planet.
Dr. Divya Budhia Gupta and Shveta Mahajan, In-Charges of the Eco Club were also present along with along with other faculty members.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other honorable members of the Managing Committee, and the Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the members of Eco Club for organizing an inspiring event.
