ECI Director General to visit Chandigarh on February 24

Chandigarh, February 21, 2014: Akshay Raut, Director General, Election Commission of India is visiting Chandigarh for review meetings and workshop related to communication and SVEEP for Punjab, Haryanan and UT Chandigarh.
Disclosing this here, an official Spokesperson of the Chief Electoral Office, Punjab said that the during DG visit on February 24, 2014, a media workshop on election regulations, paid news and Systematic Voters’ Education and Electors Participation (SVEEP) would be held at 10.30 am at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh. He said that the Director General would also review SVEEP preparations with CEO and District Officials through Video Conference from New Civil Secretariat, Haryana at 2.30 pm besides the orientation workshop with MCMC members through video conference at same time. Raut would also preside over the meeting of the Partner Departments on SVEEP collaboration.
