Dharamsala, July 14, 2013: An earthquake of mild intensity hits in and around Kangra district late on Saturday night.
The tremors occurred at 11.20 pm. It lasted four to five seconds. As per the available information, the intensity of earthquake with epicentre at Kangra was 4.5 on the Richter scale.
Residents of Dharamsala, Palampur, Jwalamukhi and surrounding areas felt tremors. However, no loss of life or property was reported.
