With an aim to ensure potable water supply to residents, Deputy Mayor Prince Johar launched a project to install tubewell in Peer Baba Ji Wali Gali (Street Number 1, Shimlapuri) in ward number 40 on Wednesday.

Ludhiana, September 16, 2026: With an aim to ensure potable water supply to residents, Deputy Mayor Prince Johar launched a project to install tubewell in Peer Baba Ji Wali Gali (Street Number 1, Shimlapuri) in ward number 40 on Wednesday.
A 25hp tubewell is being installed in the area at a cost of around Rs 12.05 lakh.
Accompanied by area residents, Johar stated that fulfilling the demand of the residents, a tubewell is being installed in the area and this will streamline the potable water supply.  
Deputy Mayor Johar stated that working under the guidance of National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, they are committed for the overall development of the city. 
Dy Mayor Johar further stated that a large number of development projects are being taken up to develop quality infrastructure and for providing relief to the residents.
Deputy Mayor Johar was accompanied by Badshah, Salwant Singh, Gurminder Singh Tony, Gurtej Singh, Narinder Singh, Gursewak Singh, Jassi, Gobind Gopal, Jasbir Singh, Jagtar Singh, Jaswinder Kaur, Kusuma, Avtar Singh, Rinku, Gaurav, Gobind, Pal Prashar, Dharampal Bittu, Kulbir among other residents during the inauguration ceremony.
