Drug-Free Awareness Campaign Team Meets DC Sachin Gupta; presents Message Letter

Rohtak, April 3, 2026: A state-level drug-free awareness team of Bharat Scouts and Guides (Chandrashekhar Azad Open Group, Bhiwani) visited Rohtak and met Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta. The team presented a message letter signed by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the team and highlighted that the state-level Nasha Mukt Haryana awareness rally was flagged off on March 17 by the Chief Minister, who also signed the message letter to strengthen the campaign.
He encouraged the team for their dedication towards spreading awareness against drug abuse and flagged them off for their next destination, Hansi, as part of their ongoing campaign across the state.
The awareness drive is being conducted under the guidance of Group Leader Sagar Sajjan Singh and Group Coordinator Laxman Kumar, with overall coordination by state-level officials including Nodal Officer Amit Kumar, Deputy Nodal Officers Nitesh Kumar and Himanshu Bhati, Media Coordinator Sunil Verma, Deputy Media Coordinators Puneet and Vijay, and Route Coordinator Captain Pushpa Devi.
Several volunteers including senior rovers and team members actively participated in the campaign, contributing to the message of a drug-free and healthy society.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that such initiatives play a vital role in mobilizing youth and strengthening community awareness against substance abuse.
