Ludhiana, August 25, 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh said that leaders who lost in Delhi are now running Punjab, due to which the development of the state has come to a standstill. The poor condition of roads in Ludhiana, known as an industrial hub, reflects the failure of the government. He said that due to the policies of the AAP government, Punjab’s industrial sector is witnessing large-scale migration. In contrast, development and progress are taking place in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while Punjab has been left behind.
Santosh was addressing a zonal meeting of party leaders and workers from Ludhiana Urban, Ludhiana Rural, Khanna, Jagraon, Moga, Ropar and Malerkotla districts in Ludhiana today. He said that Punjab will change this time, and the Bharatiya Janata Party will bring this change. He urged party workers to implement every party programme with full enthusiasm at the grassroots level and take the party’s policies and issues to the people through every available platform. He said that driving the Aam Aadmi Party out of Punjab and saving Punjab is the BJP’s resolve.
On the occasion, Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon welcomed B.L. Santosh and said that his experience would provide new direction to the Punjab team, while his guidance would prove extremely valuable in strengthening the party’s preparations to form the BJP government in 2027. He said that the AAP government has severely weakened Punjab’s financial position and the state’s debt is increasing day by day. He said that a double-engine BJP government is essential to take Punjab back towards prosperity reminiscent of the era of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
National Vice President Manpreet Singh Badal, State General Secretary (Organisation) Srinivasulu, Co-in-charge Narendra Raina, along with a large number of party leaders and workers, were present on the occasion.
